Article Writing Guidelines

The submitted works for ILTC2023 should be prepared in accordance with the following "Article Writing Guidelines." You can also refer to the 'ILTC2023 PAPER TEMPLATE' available on our website.

Page Layout

A4 Portrait Orientation, Margins (Normal) (2.5 cm on all sides), the maximum page limit is 25 pages.

When creating the text, use a paragraph text box in the Word program with 6 pt spacing before and after. Single line spacing should be selected.

Font

Gentium Plus, Main Headings should be in 10.5 pt, and the Text should be in 9.5 pt.

Cover Page

Turkish and English Titles (Gentium Plus, 12 pt, Bold and Centered, Except for Conjunctions, Each Word Starts with a Capital Letter).

The cover page should include the Author's Title, Name, Affiliation, City, Email, and ORCID numbers (Gentium Plus, 9 pt, Normal, Justified).

Article Sections Each article should consist of the following main headings:

  1. Turkish Main Title (Gentium Plus, 12 pt, Bold and Centered, Except for Conjunctions, Each Word Starts with a Capital Letter).
  2. English Main Title (Gentium Plus, 12 pt, Bold and Centered, Except for Conjunctions, Each Word Starts with a Capital Letter).
  • The article title should clearly reflect its content and be comprehensive. Each word, except for conjunctions, should start with a capital letter. The English title should also be provided immediately below the Turkish title.

Abstract (Gentium Plus, 10 pt, Bold, Italic, Justified) The abstract should present the purpose, scope, method, and results of the article briefly and clearly. The abstract should not exceed 150 words and be written in 9.5 pt Gentium Plus font, justified. Immediately below the abstract, there should be an "Abstract" section in English.

Abstract (Gentium Plus, 10 pt, Bold, Italic, Justified) The abstract should not exceed 180 words and should be written in 9.5 pt Gentium Plus font, justified.

Keywords (Gentium Plus, 10 pt, Bold, Justified) At least 3 and a maximum of 5 keywords, reflecting the integrity of the article, should be written in 9.5 pt Gentium Plus font, justified.

Introduction (Gentium Plus, 10.5 pt, Bold, Justified) The introduction section should start on a new page. It should include the foundation of the article's topic, a summary of the sections of the study, the scientific counterpart in the literature, the importance of the research, the research problem, and objectives. The text should be in 9.5 pt Gentium Plus font, justified.

Method (Gentium Plus, 10.5 pt, Bold, Justified) The method section should include the type of research, research group, data collection tools, validity and reliability, data collection techniques, data analysis, and limitations. The text should be in 9.5 pt Gentium Plus font, justified.

Results (Gentium Plus, 10.5 pt, Bold, Justified) The findings obtained from the research should be explained with relevant tables, figures, graphs, or images, supporting the purpose and problem of the study while maintaining integrity. The text should be in 9.5 pt Gentium Plus font, justified.

Discussion, Conclusion, and Recommendations (Gentium Plus, 10.5 pt, Bold, Justified) In the light of the research's importance, the findings should be discussed with references to the literature and author's opinions. The main ideas arising from the discussions should be explained in the conclusion section. Appropriate recommendations should be made in line with the discussion and conclusion of the study. The text should be in 9.5 pt Gentium Plus font, justified.

Subheadings (Gentium Plus, 10 pt, Bold, Justified, Each Word Starts with a Capital Letter) The text should be in 9.5 pt Gentium Plus font, justified.

References (Gentium Plus, 10.5 pt, Bold, Justified) The references should be prepared according to APA 6 citation style. In-text citations and references should be given in the language of the full text. The text should be in 9.5 pt Gentium Plus font, justified.

Appendices Appendix tables, figures, graphs, and images should be placed on a new page after the references. Each appendix should be classified as Appendix 1, Appendix 2, etc., and each appendix should be titled separately.

Tables Table titles should be placed above the tables. Tables should be centered within the text margins and should cover the width of the page. Table titles (Gentium Plus, 10 pt, Bold) and table contents (Gentium Plus, 9.5 pt) should be written.

Figures Figure titles should be placed below the figures. Figures should be grouped to prevent displacement during the typesetting process, especially if they are in graphic and editable format. If the figure is in a graphic and editable format, the text within it should be in 9.5 pt Gentium Plus font.
