Dear Esteemed Scientists,

We are delighted to announce that the 1st International Lake Tourism and Current Trends in Tourism Congress will take place from October 5th to 7th, 2023.

The International Lake Tourism and Current Trends in Tourism Congress aims to promote and preserve the cultural and natural assets, primarily in the Beyşehir region, to pass them on to future generations and instill a consciousness in our young generation, who are the future, to protect our universal heritage. It seeks to establish the preservation of Turkey's cultural heritage and artistic accumulation, the opening of these assets to national and international tourism, and their transformation into attractions for tourism. The congress also aims to create awareness about the natural beauty of the Beyşehir region and bring together stakeholders who work on these topics with interdisciplinary approaches under common themes.

We invite academics and researchers working in the fields of Social Sciences, Tourism, Culture, History, Literature, and Archaeology to contribute to our congress with original academic studies.

Distinguished scientists from different countries will participate in our congress, and efforts will be made to meet the criteria of relevant regulations. Participating academics will contribute by choosing either oral or poster presentations. The language of the congress is Turkish and English. Participants can attend the congress with a maximum of 3 (three) papers. The abstract texts or full texts of the papers presented at the congress will be published in electronic format upon the author's request, either in the Congress Proceedings with an ISSN or in the Selçuk Tourism and Information Studies Journal as full and abstract texts.

The participation of public institutions, industry representatives, non-governmental organizations, and academics in promoting the historical and natural beauty of Beyşehir, as well as the evaluation of topics related to current trends in both national and international tourism, and the submission of policy recommendations are of great importance to us. Your contributions to this congress, where we hope to offer suggestions, will be highly valuable. Your attendance and support will empower us, and it would be an honor to have you at our congress.

We express our joy in welcoming you, esteemed scientists, to Beyşehir, the hidden gem of our country, and wish you ease and success in your endeavors.

Sincerely,
